Throughout my practical semester at GAIA Aerospace, I was able to gain valuable insights into the development of CubeSats and CubeSat deployers. It allowed me to deepen my knowledge in an application-oriented way in an interesting space topic and also gain new knowledge. From a practical point of view, GAIA offers the possibility to turn concepts into reality using 3D printing and to test them out. Thus, I was able to design, print and test my own CubeSat structure. Working at GAIA Aerospace has definitely advanced my skills and I can recommend it to all students looking for an exciting topic in the field of space engineering.
